Subject: Long Overdue

I haven't journaled in a while.  When I have a lot of things to tackle I tend to get overwhelmed and not able to sort things out very well. Therefore journaling during this would be agonizing for you the reader!  Boy, and I thought it was hard packing for a weekend trip to Grandma's while homeschooling 4! Our time to visit the states is very near.  We have had drastic changes in plan here for the home while we are gone.  But I believe God is working out things for the best.  We started on arranging for someone to stay here a long time ago.  Plan A didn't work, then a good Plan B fell through with just a few weeks before our departure.  I am the first to admit I didn't handle that very well, even though I had definite concerns about our Plan B.    I thought, "God, what are you doing?"  He promptly answered, "Taking care of you and my children!"   Though it is very hard to leave and hard to let all the things go, I feel confident that the Father is always concerned about everyone here and takes care of each.  Of course for backup I have made ample lists ;)  Please keep Russ Turner and his son Josh in your prayers.  They are the American father and son team that will be running the home.  Please pray for Antonio, Jose's brother, as he will be staying here also managing the farm and keeping things in line also.   Also for Carlitos, he will have the surgery to straighten his eyes while we are gone.  Pray that the boys will have no fear of us not returning.  Actually for everyone and everything here!  School will continue on for the older boys, and Arnol and Reynaldo will return to school Sept. 1st.   Hannah is in China and from all reports thus far is doing well.  Please keep them in your prayers.  There have been health problems with some from the pollution. We look forward to our reunion August 17th.   I am currently on antibiotic for infection in my body.  I had a bad burn on my hand and it got infected and spread to my fingers and other body parts.  I pray it heals up rapidly.   I am so thankful to be able to say that while we are gone I have friends and church here that I will miss.   God has been our constant blessing.  This truly is our home.   Blessings, Paula
