I join you in singing that song.  I am scared for you, your family, & me.  I am scared, but I know the reaping of not being obedient, so I am joyful that you are going forward even with all the apprehension.  I read the other day in my Crisis Chapliancy Manuel that "Courage is not the absence of fear.  It is the mastery of it."  All I know is that I have fears always but I am learning to face them straight on instead of putting my head in the sand until they destroy me & all that I love.  I know there are some very rough spots ahead of you, but I know of no other young woman with the courage that you have always had.  I believe that you will turn & train those that come after you with a word of comfort & encouragement as they tread unknown waters out of obedience.  Your dream is big, but isn't it wonderful to know that because it is big it must belong to a being bigger than you?  I love you.  I pray for you.  I am excited to see how this assignment plays out.  I respect the decisions you have made in your life.  Mom  12/30/05
