Good Morning USA (and Honduras),

        This morning Paula left for Tegucigalpa to tend to Gerardo, whom is back in the hospital. His body is rejecting his new kidney. Hopefully it can be resolved by upping his medications. The doctors have been very aggressive in reducing his medications; possibly a little too much. We are told by parents of other renal patients that this is normal in the 4th-5th month after a transplant, but we were hoping for better. A lot of former transplant patients have died in dialysis. Gerardo has witnessed some patients sitting right next to him passing away during dialysis.

        Rolman rode with Paula so that she could drop him off at the air force base on the way to Tegucigalpa. Rolman will be at the same base as Walter. Whereas Walter went to the academy, Rolman is going to train as a base guard. I strongly encouraged Rolman to take advantage of every educational opportunity they give so that he will have something to build a career on upon exit. We also told him several times that they are going to try and break him down, but that we know he is man enough to pass through boot camp. Beyond boot camp, we've got to pray that he stays in the right crowd and not bow to peer pressure.
