Subject: Another Tegucigalpa Trip

Tomorrow we return to the capital city of Tegucigalpa to try and renew our residency for the fourth time in four months. Thankfully Porter Briggs will be with us this time and we have not seen him since he went to the States for a holiday break. We are looking forward to catching up. We are also going to the School of Tomorrow to buy more books for the boys. We will be purchasing $200 worth of PACE's. They've already finished about as many since beginning in December. The schoolwork is thorough if not tedious. But, they will actually learn and retain something in contrast to how they had been learning. We've seen a tremendous amount of improvement already as well as a lot of eagerness to learn! We are still praying for a teacher, a small schoolhouse and another home this year. Last year we really focused on getting the farm more productive and investing in the hardware store. Now that we have a little more income for the home, it's time to focus on the investment of education for the boys. We've had enough time to see that they are dangerously behind in academics (as are most Honduran children). We must do something to give them a chance to provide for their future families and help others. We thank the Lord for this opportunity to show His care for the children of Honduras. Thank you for helping us to help them.
