What a day! We were told that this morning church would start at 8 AM because a missionary would be here. Back in the states, you'd have to pry us out of bed to be at church that early. But here... here, daylight breaks shortly after 5:30 AM and the ninos are breaking 110 decibals before 6 AM. Sleeping until 6:30 is a real challenge. Well, we got to church on time, which is about 40 minutes before Honduran "on time". We noticed a man that we had not seen before and decided he must be the missionary. He looked about 35 years old, tall and Hispanic. Well, worship started about 8:50 and a few minutes later an older American couple arrived with a huge man, whom looked to be about 20 years old wearing a football jersey. When it came time for the American missionaries to speak, they introduced themselves and where they came from. Turns out, Jim and Verta Wilson were from Arlington, TX and had a street ministry in the poor area of Fort Worth. They used to supply our Care Ministry at Restoration Church with food. They have a couple of veterinarian clinics and have been coming to Honduras for many years. They seem to visit our local church every six months or so. They introduced us to a lot of people that will really help our home (doctors, veterinarians and more). They knew Jackie Holland as well as Nate and Sally Warren. Talk about small world, this is TINY! Anyway, as the wise man used to say, coincidence is God's way of remaining anonymous. God is good, all the time. We are refreshed with every visit from friends and family from America. God is good.
